Group Project (Video)...

For this course, we are required to produce a video that can educate people around us... After searching for ideas through the Internet, my group mates and I decided to use soda bottles to make an environment friendly broom... This idea is quite interesting and we want to share it with everyone... Below is the video about the process in making this environment friendly broom... Do click to watch it...

"Reuse of Soda Bottles - Nothing Is Waste In The World - Think Different!!!"

Materials: 

1.5 liter plastic soft drink bottles (x6), broomstick, scissors, penknife, marker, ruler, wire, hammer, nail. 


Steps: 
1. Remove the label on the bottle.
2. Remove the bottom of the bottle with the penknife.
3. Measure the distance between each cut. (1 cm)
4. Make cuts in the bottle.
5. Remove the neck with penknife.
6. Cut the top of another bottle.
7. Fitting parts with no neck, one by one over the part with neck.
8. Fit the top over the base of the broom.
9. Drill two holes and insert the wire through all layers of bottles.
10. Pull the wire to the other side.
11. Twist the ends to fasten.
12. Secure parts with a nail.
13. Your broom is ready!

Tugasan tutorial ini ialah menghasilkan slide perbentangan dengan menggunakan PowerPoint Presentation dari Google Document. Tajuk slide saya ialah "Innovation in Cake Design" (Inovasi dalam Reka Bentuk Kek). Dalam post ini, saya akan menunjukkan video tentang langkah-langkah mencetak gambar untuk diletak di atas permukaan kek. Video ini diperolehi daripada Youtube. 

Untuk mencetak gambar diletak di atas permukaan kek, anda hanya memerlukan sebuah komputer, sebuah mesin pencetak, edible paper & ink (kertas & ink yang boleh dimakan & ia boleh didapati dari kedai aksesori kek).

Berikut merupakan langkah-langkah mencetak gambar untuk diletak di atas permukaan kek: 

1. Memilih dan memuat naik gambar yang dikehendaki ke dalam komputer. 

2. Cetakkan gambar dengan menggunakan mesin pencetak yang telah dipasang dengan edible ink. 

3. Cetakkan gambar ke atas edible paper. 

4. Biarkan gambar yang telah dicetak di tepi untuk beberapa ketika. 

5. Potongkan gambar mengikut size sebenar kek dan pastikan gambar telah kering sepenuhnya sebelum dipotong. 

6. Letakkan dan tampalkan gambar yang telah dipotong itu di atas kek dengan menggunakan icing. 

7. Hiaskan tepi/sesi kek dengan menggunakan icing/fondant. 

Bagaimana mencetak gambar/foto di atas kek?

Justin Bieber's real picture on the cake??? How can this happened??? Nowadays, you can actually print your own photo on the cake. Printing a photograph to use on top of a cake is not a difficult job. All you need is the equipment such as edible inks and paper. These equipment are available at some cake decorating supply shops and even you can order them through internet websites. These materials can be used in many different printer models. But bear in mind these materials should not be installed in a printer that has been used to print with regular ink as traces of ink could remain in the printer and end up on top of your cake. 

How to print photos to put on cake? 

1. Purchase a new printer that will be dedicated to printing on edible paper with edible inks.

2. Place the edible ink cartridges into the printer in the same way you would install regular ink cartridges.

3. Load the printer with edible paper. This paper is sometimes referred to as icing sheets or frosting sheets.

4. Print your desired picture onto the edible paper. Let the picture sit for a few minutes after printing to prevent smudging.

5. Frost the cake with any type of frosting. This is necessary to adhere the printed photograph to the cake.

6. Trim the picture with scissors to make it fit on top of the cake, if necessary.

7. Peel the photograph carefully away from the backing and place the photograph onto the cake. Press it down gently so that it sticks to the frosting.

8. Pipe a border around the photograph with frosting to hide the edges of the edible paper.

Teknologi dan Inovasi dalam Reka Bentuk Kek...

Ini merupakan post yang pertama daripada saya... Saya ingin menunjukkan beberapa keping gambar...

Adakah bag, kasut, radio, cincin dan buku di atas BENAR??? 

Sebenarnya, gambar-gambar di atas merupakan reka bentuk kek yang terdapat di pasaran pada masa kini. Pada masa kini, reka bentuk kek tidak lagi terhad kepada bentuk segi empat atau bulat. Teknologi dan inovasi telah mendorong para pembuat kek untuk menghasilkan kek yang mempunyai reka bentuk yang luar biasa. Reka bentuk kek yang dihasilkan kelihatan seperti objek yang benar. Contohnya, gambar-gambar di atas, kek yang dihasilkan kelihatan seperti sebuah kamera tetapi sebenarnya ia merupakan sebiji kek yang diboleh dimakan.
